Curvilinear forms create intrigue and plays of light in a fortifying clifftop home.
Perched atop a rocky outcrop in Sydney’s southeast, the residence makes robust curvilinear and rectangular formal explorations, extruded and intersected in stone, brick, concrete and glass.
Its fortress-like walls create a sense of journey and intrigue in navigating the interior.
The residence attempts to find the mystery and magic that architecture has the potential to hold within, using its strength and sense of place whilst connecting with the senses and touching the emotions.
